Artwork - Commissions

In my spare time, I create a wide range of commissioned artwork - everything from tonal pencil portraits to vibrant landscape paintings. The hobby first took off during lockdown, a time when I was searching for something meaningful to make, and it quickly became a constant source of inspiration. Even while studying English Literature for my Bachelor’s degree, the commissions have allowed me to keep my creative skills sharp - and, more importantly, keep the passion alive.

Kent Maps Online - Marketing

Alongside my studies, I worked with Kent Maps Online - a local heritage initiative where writers, scholars, and creatives collaborate to celebrate the richness of Kent’s culture. In this role, I worked across editorial, design, and digital media, bringing cultural stories to life by researching and illustrating articles, creating striking visual assets, and managing dynamic social media content. I also wrote features and event coverage, developing the ability to turn complex subjects into narratives that are engaging, accessible, and genuinely exciting to read.

Dr. Martens Challenge (2023)

In 2023,  I submitted a design in response to a Dr. Martens competition. I decided to weave in lyrics - not only to reflect the musical theme, but also to capture the idea of movement and individuality that ties naturally to the product. I paid tribute to the legendary Fleetwood Mac by featuring the lyric “You can go your own way” in my illustration. It won, earning a feature across Dr. Martens’ social media platforms, and a new pair of boots for me. Beyond the win itself, the experience reminded me of the value of stepping outside my comfort zone and creating with confidence.
